Title: The Dignity of an Older Woman

Occasion: I was invited to speak at a Women's Fellowship where the topic was the Dignity of the Older Woman. I explain that the theological concept of an older woman is actually a status with much gravitas. This presentation ends with a special tribute to a special older woman, Debbie Erickson (pictured). She will always be the godly older woman of Titus 2 who has impacted so many lives, including mine. She will be forever loved and missed.

I have been privileged to know Tae since he was a young man.  He visited Maine in his college years as part of a ministry team and then spent time in Maine where he was unofficially adopted by my family. I have seen Tae minister in several capacities.  He is a gifted communicator of God’s word, teaching in such a way as to leave a lasting impression.  I have been blessed by his sensitive musical ministry as well as benefited from his God-given sense of humor.   Tae has a kind and generous heart, a sensitive spirit and a true dedication to His God given calling.  I truly appreciate his compassion and desire that others experience the love of God in authentic ways. I am delighted to be part of the Shin family, though from a great distance.  I recognized early on that God would use Tae for great things.  I thank God for my brother and for the good things produced in his life through Jesus Christ – knowing this brings much glory and praise to God.  Debbie Erickson, Straight Ahead Ministry, Middleboro, MA
